Tezzbuzz Desk – Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has given a big statement regarding her nephew Akash Anand. Mayawati has asked Akash's father-in-law and former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Siddharth to completely retire from politics. He clarified that if Ashok Siddharth steps down from politics, then Akash Anand can be considered to give back his old responsibilities in the party.
Mayawati wrote a long post on social media platform X and talked about the upcoming assembly elections and the party's strategy. He said that assembly elections are near in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab and it is very important for BSP and Bahujan movement to achieve better results in these states. He appealed to the party workers and supporters to engage in the election mission with full force.
In her post, Mayawati also gave a strong message regarding personal and family interests within the party. He said that no such step should be taken in personal or family interest against the interests of Bahujan Samaj and the party, which would harm the movement.
Mayawati's serious allegations against Ashok Siddharth
Mayawati cited Ashok Siddhartha as a famous example of this. He alleged that the party gave him many times a chance to correct his mistakes, but he gave priority to personal, family interests and political ambitions. According to Mayawati, it not only affected Ashok Siddharth, but his son-in-law Akash Anand also had to suffer due to it.
He said that Ashok Siddharth should have set an example of greater sacrifice and dedication towards the party and the Bahujan movement, but the opposite situation was seen in his behavior.
What did you say about Akash Anand's responsibilities?
Mayawati said that Ashok Siddhartha still has an opportunity to improve the situation. He appealed to them to give up their political ambitions and retire from politics completely. According to Mayawati, if this happens, it will be possible for Akash Anand to work independently in the party without any family pressure.
He said that if Ashok Siddhartha completely steps away from politics, the party can sympathetically consider handing over his responsibilities back to Akash Anand. With this, Akash will once again be able to play an active role in BSP.
