Asian Games: India one step away from gold medal, defeated Pakistan by scoring a goal in the last second

    India remained ahead till half time

    The Indian team maintained a 3-1 lead against Pakistan till half time. For India, Harmanpreet Singh scored two goals in the first quarter, while Sukhjit Singh scored one goal in the second quarter. However, Pakistan also opened the account of a goal. Before the end of the second quarter, Pakistan's Abu Mahmood scored a goal from the penalty corner in the 30th minute. The ball remained in India's court most of the time till half time. Whereas, India's Dilpreet Singh was given green card in the 43rd minute. In the third quarter, Pakistan tried to put pressure on India and Hanan Shahid scored a field goal in the 45th minute. India could not score a single goal in the third quarter. After this, at the beginning of the fourth quarter, Waheed Rana scored an equalizing goal in the 49th minute.
