Assam Oath Ceremony News: Registering a landslide victory in the Assam Assembly elections, the BJP-led NDA government is going to form the government in the state for the third consecutive time. The swearing-in ceremony of the new government of the state will take place in Guwahati on May 12. This has been confirmed by Assam Chief Secretary Ravi Kota. Preparations have intensified in the state for the formation of the new government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers and Union Ministers of many BJP ruled states will also participate in the program. According to reports, Himanta Biswa will become the Chief Minister again after Sarma. At present, no official statement has come from the party in the name of the Chief Minister.

high level meeting concluded

The Chief Secretary said that a high level review meeting has also been held in the state regarding the swearing-in ceremony. The Director General of Police of the state was also present in the meeting. Issues like security, traffic management, protocols and proper coordination in the state were discussed in detail in the meeting. Let us tell you that state CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has submitted his resignation to the Governor, while the Governor had also directed him to continue as the acting Chief Minister.

Swearing in ceremony on 12th May

The swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Assam will be held on May 12 at the Veterinary Field in Khanpara, Guwahati. Regarding the guests attending the program, Chief Secretary Ravi Kota informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers and Union Ministers of BJP ruled states will also attend. There is also talk of participation of many representatives from the industry.

Formed government for the third time

After the landslide victory in the assembly elections, Union Minister JP Nadda was sent as an observer and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was sent as a co-observer to elect the leader of the BJP parliamentary party in the state. In this election, the NDA alliance created history by winning 102 out of 126 seats in the state. NDA has returned to power in the state for the third consecutive time.

BJP and its allies have also performed well in the elections. The assembly elections held in five states were positive for the BJP. Along with Assam, BJP also formed the government in West Bengal with Prachanda Bahut. BJP has come to power for the first time in West Bengal.
