Atiq Ahmed’s sons get parole to attend brother Aban’s funeral: Atiq Ahmed’s two sons have been granted parole by the High Court to attend brother Aban’s funeral.

New Delhi. Atiq Ahmed’s younger son, Aban Ahmed, will be buried in the Kasari-Masari cemetery in Prayagraj shortly. Meanwhile, the Allahabad High Court has approved the parole applications of Atiq’s two jailed sons, Umar Ahmed and Ali Ahmed. They will now be able to attend their younger brother’s funeral. Ali Ahmed is in Jhansi jail, while Umar Ahmed is in Lucknow jail. Following the court’s order, the process of bringing them to Prayagraj under police protection has begun.

Aban’s grave has been dug near his father, Atiq Ahmed’s grave. Atiq Ahmed’s father, Haji Firoz Ahmed, his mother, Atiq’s younger brother, Ashraf, and Atiq’s son, Asad Ahmed, are buried in the same Kasari-Masari cemetery. Asad Ahmed was killed in a police encounter in April 2023. Preparations are underway for Aban’s burial. People have begun arriving at the cemetery. There is suspense over whether Atiq’s wife, Shaista Parveen, will arrive to bid her son a final farewell.

Aban Ahmed was going to Jhansi jail on Thursday to meet his brother Ali Ahmed when his car met with an accident on the way and he died. Apart from Aban, his friend Sonu also died in this accident. While three other people in the car were injured and are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Let us tell you that out of Atiq’s five sons, only three are left now, out of which two are in jail.
