Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust New CEO: New CEO of Ram Mandir Trust has been announced. Retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra of Indian Air Force has been appointed as the new CEO of Ram Mandir Trust. Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra led the Western Command during Operation Sindoor. Three new trustees namely Mahesh Bhagchandaka, Madan Mohan Pandey and Nirmala Yadav have also been appointed.

This is the first time in the history of Ram Mandir Trust that an ex-high ranking military officer has been entrusted with such an important responsibility of temple management. Given the continuous expansion of the temple complex, its evolving infrastructure and its sophisticated security system, the need for a strong, experienced and efficient administrator was felt long ago. Hence, the appointment of former Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra as CEO is being considered as a significant decision.

Approved after a rigorous selection process

A high-level selection committee was constituted to select the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ram Mandir Trust. These included retired Justice Pramod Kohli, retired Lt. Gen. Vishnukant Chaturvedi and expert member Suresh Hawre.

As part of the selection process, initially 16 eligible candidates were selected and interviewed. Subsequently, a panel of six prominent candidates, including former IAS officers Dinesh Chandra and Yogeshwar Mishra, was presented before the trust.

After deliberating on all matters in an important meeting held at the residence of Ram Mandir Trust Chairman Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the final decision was taken on the name of former Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra.

Former Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra was a decorated and experienced fighter pilot of the Indian Air Force. He played an important role in Operation Safed Sagar during the 1999 Kargil War. He was one of the key members of the special technical team that succeeded in the challenging task of installing laser-guided bombs on Mirage-2000 fighter jets. This technology enabled the Indian Air Force to launch highly accurate attacks on enemy targets.
