Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the approval from the Union Cabinet for the proposal to make Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Sonbarsa road 4 lanes. Welcoming this decision, he termed it as a major historic achievement towards the overall development of entire Bihar and strengthening the road connectivity of North Bihar.
North Bihar's connectivity and business activities will get new momentum
Sharing a video on his social media platform 'X', Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that approval has been received to upgrade the 82.578 km long route of Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Sonbarsa section to 4-lane standard. This decision will give a new impetus to the movement of general public as well as business activities in North Bihar.
Giving information, he said that the construction of this ambitious project will cost approximately Rs 3,590.73 crore. With this investment, the road network of the region will be greatly strengthened and passengers will get world class transportation facilities.
Construction of four lanes will make travel easier and new employment opportunities will open.
Samrat Choudhary stressed that this four-lane project will prove to be a milestone in the economic and social development of North Bihar. Construction of 4-lane road between Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi and Sonbarsa will not only reduce the travel time but will also provide great relief to the common people and traders passing through this route.
Due to the advanced road network, there is full hope of establishment of new industries in this area, business expansion and creation of many new employment opportunities for the local youth. He said that this initiative will give more strength to our common resolve of 'Samridh Bihar'.
Continuous support from Centre, expressed thanks to PM Modi
Expressing deep gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Samrat Chaudhary said that the Central Government is continuously gifting state-of-the-art road network to Bihar. Such far-reaching infrastructure projects will take Bihar forward in a new direction of progress and prosperity.
Appreciation of 'Self-reliant India' and 'Make in India' in defense sector
In another social media post, Samrat Chaudhary praised Prime Minister Modi's strong leadership towards making the defense sector self-reliant. He described the decision of indigenization of 405 strategic defense equipment as a clear proof of the stupendous success of the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Make in India' campaigns.
He mentioned that indigenous manufacturing of Tejas fighter aircraft, ALH helicopters, modern tanks, warships and missile systems will strengthen India's strategic security capabilities in an unprecedented manner. Along with this, this decision will also give a huge boost to Indian domestic industries and MSME sector.
