“Beyond grateful,” he wrote.

Deacon also reposted a post which showcased the current cast of the upcoming book to movie adaptation, calling his co-stars “gang.”

The upcoming Better Than the Movies adaptation is currently in the development stage, which will bring Lynn Painter’s bestselling YA romance novel to the screen.

The story follows Liz Buxbaum (Beatrice), a self-proclaimed rom com lover who becomes caught in a love triangle involving her longtime crush Michael (Deacon) and her childhood neighbor Wes (David).

Although few details about the upcoming film have been revealed, author Lynn Painter has already given the project her approval.
