Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, as part of the ongoing campaign against crime and criminals, effective action is being taken continuously against the illegal property acquired through crime by the accused under the Gangster Act. In the same sequence, major action has been taken by Kon police station against Gangster Act accused Hafiz son of Azimuddin, resident of Kudwa, Kon police station, Sonbhadra district.
Court District Magistrate, District Sonbhadra, case number D202616660001912, year 2026, State vs. Hafeez, under Section 14(1) of UP Gangster and Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act, related crime number 230/2025, by Hafeez accused in Section 3(1) Gangster Act.
An order was passed to confiscate the permanent house built at Forest Department's Aaraji No. 4000 in village Parachha, Pargana Agori, Tehsil Obra, the estimated value of which is ₹ 37,50,000/- (thirty seven lakh fifty thousand rupees), with the illegal money earned from cattle smuggling.
In compliance with the said order, on Saturday, 05.09.2026, in the presence of SHO Kon Akhilesh Kumar Mishra and Naib Tehsildar Obra, attachment action was taken as per rules by the joint team of Kon Police and Revenue Department. During the action, a declaration of attachment was made by beating trumpets on the spot and the said pucca house was sealed by putting up a board regarding attachment.
Several cases related to cattle smuggling have been registered against accused Hafeez. In view of these criminal activities, a case has been registered against him at the police station under FIR No. 230/2025, Section 3(1) Gangster Act.

SHO Ankhilesh Kumar Mishra Police Station Con, Naib Tehsildar Obra, Halka Lekhpal and other police personnel were included in the team that made the seizure.
