Bajaj Auto has announced the launch of new motorcycles in the 125 cc to 160 cc segment, after posting strong revenue and a stormy growth in the sports bike segment in the first three months. These new cars are likely to enter the market in the next two to three months, and the company is preparing to expand its product portfolio in a big way.
Pulsar series will undergo major design and mechanical changes
Although the company has not officially announced the names of the cars, it is certain that the new Pulsar models will be at the forefront of this launch. The next-gen Pulsar 125 is expected to be launched first in the next few months. Spotted on road testing, the bike features a redesigned chassis, mid-mounted rear monoshock suspension and single and split-seat options.

The continuous updates in the Pulsar range have led to a huge financial gain for the company in the April-June quarter. The entry-level sports bike segment has grown by a whopping 50 percent year-on-year during this period, with Bajaj significantly increasing its market share. The company’s total revenue grew by 37 percent to a record high of Rs 17,244 crore, giving the company a major boost in new car expansion.

Planning electric variants and new adventure bikes
Electric scooters like the ‘Chetak’ currently account for nearly 20 percent of Bajaj’s total two-wheeler sales, and plans to launch more Chetak variants in the coming years. Apart from this, Bajaj is fast-tracking the development of a new dual-sport adventure bike, which could soon be introduced for customers who are interested in off-roading and long-distance travel.
