Big update regarding land survey in Bihar, good news for 24 districts

Patna. The government has taken a big step towards making land related matters simple and transparent in Bihar. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has implemented a new strategy to speed up the special survey campaign, which will increase the pace of work in 24 districts of the state and the common people will get relief soon.

After assuming charge recently, Department Secretary Jai Singh has given clear instructions to the officers that all the work related to land survey should be completed on priority basis. He said that this department is directly connected with the public, hence any kind of negligence or delay will not be accepted in it.

Deploying officers in every district

The government has fixed the responsibilities of senior officers in different districts to make the survey work effective. These officers will have to go to their respective areas and monitor the work and ensure that the survey process is completed within the stipulated time.

Districts will be visited every Saturday

According to Additional Secretary Ajeev Vatsaraj, the appointed officers will visit their allotted districts every Saturday. During this, they will review the progress of land survey, understand the local problems and try to find solutions on the spot. This will bring transparency in work and complaints can be resolved quickly.

Special focus on pending cases

The department has made it clear that the cases which are pending for a long time will be resolved as soon as possible. Instructions have been given to make other tasks related to land disputes, record updates and surveys simpler and faster.

Will common people benefit?

The general public will get the biggest benefit from this initiative. There will be a reduction in land related disputes, paperwork will be easier and people will have to visit government offices less. Also, preparing correct records will also prevent any kind of legal trouble in future.
