Chhattisgarh News: To promote investment in the mineral sector and development of critical mineral resources in Chhattisgarh. Road show at Mayfair Lake Resort, Nava Raipur on 31st August 2026 Will be held. Organized by the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, the event will focus on the 8th tranche of auction of Critical and Strategic Mineral Blocks. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will be the chief guest.
The program will be attended by Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey and CMDC President Saurabh Singh along with senior officials of the Central and State Government, mining experts and industry representatives.
20 mineral blocks put up for auction
Total in the 8th tranche of Critical and Strategic Minerals 20 mineral blocks Has been put up for auction. in these 3 mining leases and 17 composite license blocks Are included.
These blocks include important minerals like graphite, rare earth elements, rare metals, vanadium, gallium, titanium, molybdenum and tungsten. These minerals are considered important for modern technology, industry, energy and strategic needs.
Tin and e-sand Sangwari portal will be started
With the aim of increasing technology and transparency in the mineral sector during the road show. TIN Portal and e-Sand Sangwari Portal Will be launched.
Apart from this, it is proposed to exchange MoU between CMDC and Indian Overseas Bank and MoU with Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University for corundum cutting and polishing training. Release of book published on Minor Minerals and NIT for three limestone mining lease blocks Issuance process is also proposed.
Technical session will be held from 2 pm
The program will begin with registration at 10:30 am, while the inaugural session will take place at 12 noon. after this Technical session from 2 pm Will be held.
In this, Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited will give information about the proposed mineral blocks. Information about mineral auction process and tender document will be provided by SBI Caps and e-auction process will be provided by MSTC. There will also be a presentation on the NMET scheme related to partial reimbursement of exploration expenses of composite license holders.
