China sent relief team, but no information about the work
China has informed about sending relief and rescue teams to the affected area, but the detailed information about what kind of work these teams did on the ground and how many people were rescued has not been made public.

Two more glaciers are being monitored
Nepal's Meteorological Department officials are now trying to monitor two other glaciers as well. Both these glaciers are located around the glacier whose breakage caused the devastating flood on Wednesday. In such a situation, monitoring has been increased in view of the possibility of further breakage of the glacier.
4 thousand people were evacuated safely
According to the latest update from the 'National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority', about 4,000 people have been evacuated to safe places during the relief and rescue operations. However, the number of missing people is still quite high. In the latest figures, 1,924 people have been reported missing.
More than 15,000 security personnel from Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Forces have been deployed in the affected areas to intensify search and rescue operations.
There is also a difference in the figures of missing foreigners
Different figures have emerged regarding the number of missing foreign nationals. A government report said 517 foreign nationals and people working in hydropower projects were missing. At the same time, in the earlier data of Nepal Police, the number of missing foreign nationals was said to be 575. Citizens of 36 countries are said to be included in these.
According to police data, the missing foreigners include 65 Americans, 62 Ukrainians and 33 British nationals. Apart from this, information about 149 Nepalese tourists and 1,407 local citizens missing from the affected areas has also come to light.
In Nepal, the Army, Police and Armed Police Forces are carrying out relief and rescue operations on war footing. At the same time, due to limited information coming out from China regarding the real impact of the disaster and loss of life in Tibet, questions remain on its transparency.
