This time the discussion is about a viral video in which it has been claimed that an AI model itself completed the process of booking accommodation by visiting the online portal of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam i.e. TTD.
In this video shared on Instagram, Indian tech creator Pawan allegedly instructed the AI agent to book accommodation in Tirupati. The video claimed that the AI itself navigated the website, logged in, selected the date and took the booking process to the payment page.
However, the process shown and claims made in this viral video require independent verification. Therefore, for the time being, this should be seen only as a claim made on social media.
How did AI work on TTD website?
According to the viral video, the tech creator gave a simple instruction to the AI. In this, it was allegedly asked to find a place to stay during Tirupati Darshan on December 21 and to proceed with the booking process.
According to the claim, the AI agent then accessed the TTD website using the user's saved login details. He then navigated through different options on the website, selected date information, and tried to access available accommodation options.
That is, for the work for which the user usually has to open the website and complete each step himself, it has been claimed in the viral video that AI completed these steps at its own level.
AI stopped the process before payment
The most important part of this viral video is related to payment.
As per the claim made in the video, the AI agent proceeded with the booking process and reached the payment page, but did not make the final payment.
It was told that financial information related to banking or cards was not provided to AI. Therefore, the process was stopped just before payment, so that the user could proceed after checking the booking information and payment details himself.
If this claim is true, it could be an example of the ability of AI agents to perform multi-step digital tasks by visiting websites rather than just answering questions.
Why is there discussion on social media?
This video has caught people's attention because online booking websites are often visited by a large number of people simultaneously. In such a situation, visiting different pages of the website, choosing a date, checking availability and proceeding with the booking process can be a time-consuming task.
The viral video claimed that AI handled all these steps itself. For this reason, a discussion started among social media users that in the coming time, AI agents will be able to do real work by visiting websites instead of just giving information.

This is not the first time that a claim of online booking through an AI agent has come to light.
Earlier, another video had gone viral on social media, in which it was claimed to book instant train tickets on IRCTC with the help of AI. Now after this video related to TTD website has surfaced, the discussion regarding the capabilities of AI agents has again intensified.
However, in both cases it is important to understand the difference between the claims made on social media and the actual system capability. A process shown in a viral video does not prove that AI can successfully perform the same task in every situation.
Question of security on giving login to AI
With the increasing use of AI agents, the biggest question is about data and account security.
If an AI tool is given access to a website's saved logins, personal information or other sensitive data, the user needs to understand how that access is being used.
Especially extra caution is necessary before giving information related to banking, card, OTP and payment to the AI agent. Even in the viral video, the point of stopping the process before payment brings to the fore this security aspect.
Is the coming time of AI agents?
Today AI chatbots are not limited to just answering questions. AI agents are being developed to perform tasks that may include opening websites, searching for information, comparing options, and completing multi-step digital processes.
