Sheopur: The controversy over the food given to children in a government school in Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh, escalated so much that the female cook and her husband have been accused of assaulting the headmaster of the school. The incident took place at Integrated Government Secondary School, Kila Road campus. The video of the incident has also surfaced. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the couple and started investigation.
Controversy started due to complaint of not liking food
It was told that on Friday morning, Headmaster Kamaljit Singh Sisodia was getting the laborers doing painting work in the school. Meanwhile, school cook Naseer Bano and her husband Ismail were present there. The headmaster told the cook that the children were not liking the food prepared by him and a written complaint had also been lodged in the department in this regard.
Controversy increased regarding this matter. It is alleged that the cook and her husband stopped the painting work and started abusing the headmaster. When the headmaster protested, Ismail tried to make him fall by holding his collar.
Accused of beating with slippers, staff provided protection
It is alleged that after this Naseer Bano started beating the headmaster with slippers. The headmaster tried to run into the school premises to escape, but the woman kept running after him. During this period, it has come to light that he got injured in his back.
During the incident, other school employees intervened and saved the headmaster. After this, the headmaster reached the City Kotwali police station along with the students and gave a written complaint.
Police registered the case
According to the City Kotwali Police, on the basis of the complaint of the Headmaster, a case has been registered against Naseer Bano and her husband Ismail under sections related to obstruction of government work and assault. Police has started the investigation of the matter.
A teacher of the school also claimed that the cook had been involved in disputes in the school in the past and a complaint had been made to the administration in this regard. However, confirmation of these allegations will become clear only after investigation.
