In the case of death under suspicious circumstances of Kewal resident Nitish Tiwari alias Bata (34), who was found unconscious on the roadside in Cherwadih village, the police have registered an FIR against two youths for culpable homicide and started investigation. On the complaint of the deceased's father Lalit Tiwari, Anand Jaiswal alias Sonu, resident of Cherwadih, son of Ramjanam Jaiswal and Lokesh Paswan, son of Surendra Paswan have been named.
The father has alleged in the complaint that his son was having a dispute with both the youth for the last several months. It is alleged that in the past he was also given death threats. On Tuesday, Nitish had come to his sister's house in Cherwadih. During this time there was a dispute regarding some matter. After some time, he was found seriously injured and lying in an unconscious state on the main road in front of his sister's house. His head had serious injury marks and was soaked in blood.
On receiving information, the family members reached the spot and immediately took him to Kon Community Health Center, where the doctor declared him dead. The father of the deceased has alleged in the complaint that both the named youths beat up his son and threw him on the road.
On getting information about the matter, BJP workers including former District President of BJP Dr. Dharamveer Tiwari reached Kon and took information about the matter from the police officers. Dr. Tiwari, while demanding an impartial investigation into the case, said that if there is any kind of pressure or possibility of the investigation being affected at the local level, then the investigation of the case should be done by the police of another police station. He said that whoever is found guilty in the investigation, strict action should be taken against him as per rules.
Considering the demand of the victim's family and the seriousness of the case, the police registered an FIR against Anand Jaiswal and Lokesh Paswan in the afternoon and started investigation. Police say that further action will be taken on the basis of investigation.
