Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary inspected the dry ration packaging center built in Shri Krishna Memorial Hall, Patna. The Chief Minister took information about the relief packets being prepared at the packaging center and took stock of the quality of the material being kept in it.
All the necessary materials needed in the relief packet
Along with food items, items of daily need are also being included in the relief packets being prepared for the flood affected people at the packaging centre. Officials told the Chief Minister that packets are being prepared keeping in mind that the affected families do not face any kind of problem. Other essential items including bangles, gram, sattu, sugar, masala, ORS, matchsticks and candles are being kept in the relief packet.
Relief material will be delivered by Air Force helicopter
Two helicopters of the Air Force will be used to deliver relief material to the flood affected areas. Relief material will be transported to the affected people through helicopters, so that timely help can reach even those areas which are difficult to reach by road due to floods.
CM gave instructions to officials to speed up relief distribution
During the inspection, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary directed the officials that there should not be any negligence in the distribution of relief material. He said that along with food items, other essential items should also be provided to the flood affected people on time. The Chief Minister directed the officials to work with full seriousness in monitoring the relief work and delivering essential materials to the affected people.

During the inspection, Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, Principal Secretary of Disaster Department Santosh Kumar Mall, Secretary to Chief Minister Lokesh Kumar Singh, District Magistrate Kundan Kumar and many other officials were present.
