Donald Trump: US President Donald Trump confirmed on Tuesday (local time) that he used another plane instead of Air Force One due to “threats” during a recent summit in Turkey. He said that he does only what the Secret Service and the Army advise him to do. This confirmation from Trump came a day after there were reports that the US President abandoned the Boeing 747-8 aircraft received from Qatar and used the old Air Force One and then secretly boarded a smaller C-32A aircraft.
Last month, news came that due to the alleged threat, Trump had to use an old Boeing plane instead of the jet he got from Qatar. However, the recent report of Washington Post states that the US President changed the plane once again. They were secretly taken from the old Air Force One in a catering container and then through that container they were transported to a small C-32A aircraft.
Official statement not revealed
There was no official statement from the White House or Trump about changing the plane, but now the US President has confirmed this. After returning from Ohio, the US President spoke to journalists. During this he said that I agree with the Secret Service and the Army. They wanted me to go on a different flight or a different plane. I do what they say. I think there was some danger. I didn't ask much about it. I keep getting a lot of threats.
Apart from this, he further said that he receives many such threats which the public is not aware of and he said that any important President receives a lot of threats.

What did Trump say about the threats?
Speaking to reporters, Trump further said that less important presidents do not get threats and I think perhaps I am the most important president. Talking about the threats, the US President said that he is not worried about anything. Anyway, you know my point of view? Whatever it is. However, the truth about Trump's change to another plane was not yet known to some officials and the media. At that time he felt that Trump was still traveling in the old Boeing 747.
According to media reports, the journalists present in the old plane coming from Türkiye were also asked to keep the window blinds (curtains) down. Several media reports, including the New York Times, said that the US President had to change the plane due to 'credible threat from Iran's proxy forces'. Citing multiple sources, the NYT reported that information received by US officials revealed that even though Iran's proxy forces were not specifically targeting the new jet received from Qatar, their plan was to target Trump and any aircraft in which he was traveling.
