Patna. The weather has once again taken a turn in Bihar. Rain continues in many parts and the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain along with thunderstorms and strong wind on September 17. There is a possibility of bad weather in some areas on September 18 also.
More impact in these areas
Orange alert has been issued in Patna, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Munger, Begusarai, Khagaria, Jehanabad, Bhagalpur, Gayaji, Nawada, Jumai and Banka of Bihar.
At the same time, yellow alert has been issued in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia and Katihar. There are chances of rain in Munger, Jumai and Nawada.
Chances of rain on 18th September also
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, rain activities along with thunderstorms may continue in Bihar on September 18 also. After this, there is no blanket warning for the state from September 19.
People advised to take precautions
According to the Meteorological Department, it is better to stay away from open fields, trees and weak structures during thunderstorms and strong winds. Farmers and people living in rural areas are also advised to keep watching weather updates. According to IMD, there is no widespread warning in Bihar after September 19.
