Delhi Police has made tight security arrangements for the Delhi University Students Union elections. No one is being allowed entry into the campus without a valid ID card of the University. The police have stopped the movement by placing barricades at all the entry-exit points of the university.
Counting of votes is going on in the multipurpose hall of the sports stadium of Delhi University's North Campus. Delhi Police has barricaded in five layers. Dozens of policemen at every barricade are ready to stop any anarchy.

Counting of votes for DUSU elections is still going on and the pictures are changing every moment. According to officials, more than 2,000 police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed in Delhi University. Police from many police stations are deployed here. Along with increasing security around the counting centre, restrictions have also been imposed on major roads.

14 rounds counted
Let us tell you that the counting of 14 rounds has been completed. ABVP's Yash Dabas is leading on the post of President by getting 16,166 votes. NSUI's Vijay Shankar Meena is at second place with 16,104 votes. Independent candidate Dipanshu Shaukeen is ahead for the post of Vice President, Riya Chawri of ABVP is ahead for the post of Secretary and Gopal Choudhary of NSUI is ahead for the post of Air Joint Secretary.
What percentage of voting took place?
Let us tell you that voting for DUSU elections was held on Friday, this time 40.46 percent voting took place till 7:30 pm. Whereas last year 39.5 percent voting was recorded.
