Ayodhya . On Tuesday, 8 former officers gave interview for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ayodhya Ram Temple. These include 3 former IAS, one IPS and 4 former military officers. Former IPS Rajesh Pandey, who was an encounter specialist, and former DM of Jaunpur Dinesh Chandra have also given interviews.

The interview lasted from 11:30 am to 2 pm. According to sources, each candidate was interviewed for 15-20 minutes. Where did you work with him? What work did you do in the religious field? How much faith do you have in Lord Ram? Who is there in the family? Such questions were asked. 18 candidates will participate in the interview which will last for 4 days. Out of these 3 names will be final. Then Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will interview these three and finally finalize a name. More than 5,300 people had applied for the post of CEO, but only 18 people were shortlisted. These include the name of former DM of Ayodhya Yogeshwar Ram Mishra. The names of 15 people have not been revealed yet. Retired Justice Pramod Kohli, former scientist Dr. Suresh Howde and retired Lieutenant General Vishnukant Chaturvedi are being interviewed.
5,300 people applied, scrutiny was done with 34 questions
After the Ram Temple offering theft case came to light, the Trust had invited applications for the post of CEO from July 13 to 18. Applicants were asked to answer 34 questions through an online Google form. On the basis of these, the team scrutinized 5,300 applications. Of these, 18 candidates were found eligible for the post. After this he was called for interview.
These main conditions were kept for the applicants

Age Limit: The age of the applicant should be between 50 to 70 years.
Tenure: The appointment of CEO will be for initial 3 years. The tenure can be extended further on the basis of work performance.
Experience: At least 20 years of experience is required in areas like general administration, finance and accounting, human resources, public relations, information technology, security and law.
Applicants were asked – are they staunch Hindus or believers?
In the Google form, personal information like name, date of birth, age, address, city, state, pin code, mobile number and e-mail was asked from the applicants. There were also questions related to understanding of Hindi and English language. Apart from this, information about the applicant's highest educational qualification, current job or retirement and previous institution was sought. It was also asked how many employees he has led. For this, options of 1,000 to 5,000 and more employees were given. The applicant was also asked whether he had previously been associated with any social or religious organization, monastery or temple. If yes, then information was also sought for how many years it remained connected. The applicant also had to state whether he was a staunch Hindu or a devout Hindu. Apart from this, his vision, action plan and suggestions for the Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage area were also sought.
