Electric car burst into flames on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, driver saved his life by jumping
Dausa-Bandikui section, Rajasthan. A major accident has come to light today i.e. Saturday on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Where an electric car which was speeding suddenly caught fire and within no time a ball of fire was formed. The satisfactory thing was that the car driver jumped from the moving vehicle in time, which saved his life. According to reports, smoke suddenly started coming out from the bonnet of the car and turned into huge flames within a few seconds. It is believed that this accident happened due to short circuit in the battery. However, as soon as the fire broke out, instead of panicking, the driver showed wisdom and immediately opened the car door and jumped out. As soon as information about this incident was received, expressway patrolling team and fire department vehicles reached the spot. After a lot of hard work the fire was completely controlled. But by the time the fire was brought under control, the car was completely burnt to a skeleton.

Due to this accident, the speed of vehicles on the expressway stopped for some time. With the help of a crane, the police removed the burnt car from the road and operated the traffic smoothly. The increasing incidents of fire in electric vehicles have once again raised questions on safety standards and Battery Thermal Management System. At present, the police is conducting a detailed investigation of the case.
