Eminem pays homage to Dolly Parton following her tragic death

Eminem has also paid tribute to the legend Dolly Parton following her sudden passing.

Earlier today, the world woke up to the devastating news of the death of the popular country singer.

Many celebrities including Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Pedro Pascal and others offered their condolences and paid tribute to the deceased.

The Rap God took it to his Instagram to share a special letter that he received from the late 80-year-old singer after he his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.

The 53-year-old dropped the letter on his social media handle in which Dolly congratulated him on achieving the milestone.

In the caption, Eminem expressed how sorry he feels that he never got a chance to meet the legend.

The Mocking Bird singer wrote, “I’m sorry we never got a chance to meet, but getting this note from Dolly really had a an impact on me. She definitely didn’t have to take the time to do it.”

He continued the caption, “Even for a kid who mostly listened to rap music, she was an icon. A superstar in every sense. Rest easy Dolly. And thank you for the kind words.”

Parton passed away Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center after fighting a secret battle with an undisclosed type of cancer.
