Farmers movement in Bhopal, march to CM House, talks with government remained inconclusive
Demonstration of farmers continues today (Wednesday, July 29) in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Kisan Kranti foot march has reached Bhopal and now the agitating farmers are going to march towards the Chief Minister’s residence in Bhopal. Farmers demand that the government should purchase 100 percent moong and fix the fertilizer distribution system.
It is being told that late night on Tuesday (July 27), Agriculture Minister Adal Singh Kansana had tried to convince the farmers by talking to them, but this meeting did not reach any result, after which now the farmers are going to surround the CM residence. The farmers have been sitting on dharna since the whole night and say that they will continue to sit on dharna until all their demands are accepted and will go to the CM residence today.
There is a traffic jam in Bhopal since yesterday evening due to the farmers’ movement. Route diversion has been done in view of the farmers’ movement.
- Vehicles coming from Narmadapuram Road can take 11 Mile Bypass via Khajuri Kala SOS Road Piplani.
- People living in the colony between Misrod village and Bhopal University can board the Bavadiankala Bridge and travel to Kolar and number 10.
- Those who want to go to Narmadapuram route from MP Nagar should use Govindpura Piplani and Patel Nagar or Khajuri Kala route. Those going to AIIMS can turn left from Katrahills, Bagsevania and under RLL Bridge.
