Gandhinagar, August 13, 2026 – Today at Samarpan Arts and Commerce College ahilyabai Floral tributes were offered on the 231st death anniversary of Holkar.
On the 231st death anniversary of Punyashloka Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, an ideal woman, who was born in an ordinary family and had achieved good governance for three decades in very difficult times in the Vidarbha province of Madhya Pradesh and who had journeyed to become a universally accepted Rajmata, a wreath was laid by the College Women Development Cell of Gandhinagar Charitable Trust Samarpan Arts and Commerce College.
College Principal Dr. Ashish Janakrai Dave gave an inspirational speech citing the example of his simple life, courage, strategy, justice, human resource management, all-round development of the nation and his devotion to religion.
He had appealed to every student and teacher to read the book translated and published by Sevika Samiti from the college library. He said that power is for service, as an example of this, his sanskar of giving praise for every good work to his worshipper, the ease of accepting every decision as Shiva's order instead of royal order, along with the achievement of Anandamaya Kosh according to the Panchakosha principle, his unique faith becomes an inspiration for everyone.
The program was organized by College Women Development Committee Dr. The dedication was done by Ramilaben Patel and Value Flow Committee, after the speech, every student, teacher, brothers and sisters offered floral tributes.
