New Delhi, 13 August 2026: Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla today met the Speaker of the Kenyan National Assembly, Dr. Moses M. Met with Wetangula and the Kenyan parliamentary delegation.
In a social media post, Om Birla had said that the relations between the two countries, based on shared democratic values and historical heritage, can be further strengthened through parliamentary cooperation.
In this meeting, discussions were held on parliamentary capacity building as well as cooperation in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, education, health, infrastructure, maritime connectivity, blue economy and digital development.
