Delhi Woman Gets 200 Crore Extortion Threat: An extortion amount of 200 crores has been demanded from a Delhi woman. Gangster Goldy Brar called a woman living in a posh area of Delhi and demanded extortion of Rs 200 crore. The woman has been threatened over a WhatsApp call by taking the name of gangster Goldie Brar. Finally the police have registered a complaint. Delhi Police is investigating whether the person making the threat is gangster Goldie Brar. Or someone else has threatened in the name of Goldie Brar.
According to Delhi Police, the caller threatened to kill the woman and her husband and demanded extortion of Rs 200 crore. This is the biggest amount in the incidents of extortion that have come to light so far in Delhi.
Delhi Police said that the woman has ancestral property in Civil Lines. On September 7, at around 10:44 pm, he received a WhatsApp call from a foreign number. The caller allegedly revealed her name as Goldie Brar and claimed that she had complete information about the woman's family. Along with this, the caller demanded Rs 200 crore from her and threatened to kill the woman and her husband if the money was not given. Initially she ignored this threatening call, but later the woman received another threatening call, after which she went to the Civil Lines police station and lodged a police complaint.
Special cell of Delhi Police also engaged in investigation.
After preliminary investigation in this matter, the police have registered a case under sections 351(4), 308(4) and 61(2) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) on September 10 and started investigation. Along with the District Police, the Special Cell of Delhi Police is also investigating this matter. Efforts are on to identify the caller and find out the motive behind the threat.
