According to the information, during the investigation of a suspicious parcel at Masaurhi Post Office on Sunday, the police recovered about 310 grams of a drug like ganja from a parcel. As soon as the information about the case was received, the police team under the leadership of Masodhi police station chief Vivek Bharti reached the spot and started investigating the entire matter. During investigation, the police identified the holder of the mobile number 9262960581 associated with the parcel and registered a case against him under Section 8/20(b)(ii)(A) ​​NDPS Act under Masaurhi police station case number 395/26 dated 18.05.26.

Police station chief Vivek Bharti said that the network for sending and receiving drugs is being thoroughly investigated. Continuous raids are being conducted to identify and arrest the people involved in the case. This action of Masaurhi police has created panic among drug dealers. The police have made it clear that drug trade will not be allowed to flourish in the area at any cost and strict action against such traders will continue.
