Former Bigg Boss winner Gauahar Khan has weighed in on the ongoing drama inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, taking aim at world champion boxer MC Mary Kom over a recent captaincy contender task.
During the task, Mary Kom fell to the ground and held co-contestant Qazi Touqeer responsible, claiming his actions caused her to lose balance. However, Gauahar publicly disputed Mary Kom’s version of events after watching the footage, stating that as a viewer, it did not appear Qazi pulled or pushed her harshly.
Gauahar Questions the Accusation
Sharing a series of videos on her Instagram Stories, Gauahar expressed surprise at how Mary Kom handled the situation. Having participated in physically demanding tasks herself during her own season, Gauahar pointed out that an athlete of Mary’s stature would typically display greater resilience.
“This is our country's biggest personality, which has so much strength that it can defeat anyone with its own strength… But it is said that it has fallen due to Qazi's hand putting it in the bag! Please friend! Please call out on the weekend! I am requesting,” Gauahar said.
Gauahar further analyzed the exact sequence of the fall, pointing out that Qazi had already removed his hands when Mary lost her balance.
“When Qazi ke haath daalne ke baad woh bahar nilakā woh us waqt giri hai. She literally fell like a little girl. There was no harsh pull on her. I understand that the bag was heavy, but you'd expect more strength from Mary Kom ji. Not just physical but mental,” Gauahar added.
Ongoing Tensions in the House
The incident comes amidst growing drama inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, where tasks for captaincy and ration distribution have heightened rivalries among the 16 celebrity contestants.
Host Salman Khan previously addressed other disputes during Weekend Ka Vaar, including schooling contestant Rhiti Tiwari for her derogatory remarks during a diss battle with Uditi Singh. Viewers and fans now await the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episodes to see if Salman Khan addresses Mary Kom’s accusations against Qazi Touqeer.
