Gave the promise of marriage for 5 years, now absconded with cash and jewellery, allegations against constable

In Banda, Uttar Pradesh, a woman has accused a constable of physical abuse. The woman has also filed a case of fraud against the constable. The victim woman has given a complaint letter to the Superintendent of Police and told him that the constable exploited her for five years on the pretext of marriage and took away all her money and jewellery. The police have now started investigating this matter.

The woman said that the incident started when the constable was posted at Kalinjar police station in Banda. He established a relationship with the woman by falsely promising her marriage and continued exploiting her. The constable whom the woman has accused is posted in Hamirpur and the name of the accused constable is said to be Pawan Kanojia.

Also accused of grabbing cash and jewelery

The woman has accused Pawan Kanojia of physically and mentally exploiting her from 2021 to 2026 on the pretext of marriage and also of usurping Rs 2 lakh in cash and jewelery worth Rs 1,50,000. The woman told that in 2021, Pawan was posted at Kalinjar police station and he used to visit the woman’s shop. During this time Pawan and her had a love affair. The woman alleges that Pawan also had physical relations with her after promising marriage.

The constable was already married

The victim alleged that the accused constable was already married but he had hidden this fact from the victim. The victim has now given a written complaint to the police station. The woman alleges that he has been exploiting her for a long time and is repeatedly postponing the issue of marriage.

The victim alleged that the accused constable threatened her on March 20, 2026. The woman claims that the accused said that he was married and said that he kept her only to spend time. Along with this, it is alleged that the constable has also threatened to implicate the woman in a false case and after assaulting her, he ran away.
