Giving this information, Mayor Garima Devi Sikariya said that a tender has been issued for the construction of the grand entrance and bathroom of “Mukti-Dham”. Mayor Sikariya said that the Municipal Corporation has given administrative approval to an important and ambitious plan for the overall development of Sant Ghat Muktidham of Bettiah Municipal Corporation area. Under this scheme, a well-equipped main entrance with modern facilities will be constructed at Sant Ghat Muktidham, which will become a symbol of religious and cultural faith.

According to the tender issued by the city administration, grand statues of creator Lord Vishnu and liberator Lord Mahadev Shiva will be installed on both sides of the entrance, which will give a new dimension to the dignity and spiritual atmosphere of Muktidham. Along with this, a well-organized bathroom will also be constructed in the Muktidham complex for the convenience of the devotees and people attending the last rites. The Mayor also informed that the estimated cost of this scheme approved by the Municipal Corporation Board has been fixed at Rs 15 lakh 44 thousand 279. Mayor Garima Devi Sikariya described it as a historic step towards the development of religious and public places of the city and said that a target has been set to complete the work within three months.

On the basis of the tender issued by Municipal Commissioner Shivakshi Dixit, Mayor Sikariya said that the date for downloading the tender form has been fixed from July 7 to July 27, 2026, while the process of opening the tender bid and allotment of work will be completed on July 28, 2026. With the completion of this scheme, the appearance of Sant Ghat Muktidham will become modern, organized and more facility-rich.
