Green coriander increases the taste, aroma and color of vegetables manifold. But if not stored properly, coriander starts rotting and spoils quickly. If you want to keep coriander green and fresh for a long time, then do not make the mistake of keeping it in the refrigerator immediately. To make coriander last longer, open the bundle of coriander and remove yellow, rotten and spoiled leaves from it. Now take water in a bowl and wash coriander leaves gently in it. Avoid rubbing the leaves too much but clean the dirt from the roots. Now spread the washed coriander on a plate or newspaper. Let the moisture present in coriander dry thoroughly. This will keep coriander green and fresh for a long time.

Way to keep coriander green for a long time

First method- Now take a paper towel and wet it lightly. Now divide the coriander into small bunches and wrap a wet paper towel around the roots and the stalk portion below. Now keep coriander in a plastic container and keep it in the refrigerator. In this way coriander remains fresh and green for 15 days.

Second way- Take a sheet of plastic wrap and wrap the coriander in the plastic. Keep removing air while wrapping in plastic sheet. The less coriander comes in contact with air, the longer it will remain fresh. Wrap the amount of coriander to be used each time in separate plastic sheets. Keep them in the fridge and whenever you want to use coriander, take out a bunch of coriander and use it. In this way coriander lasts for a long time.

Third method- When coriander dries completely, cut its roots. Now chop the coriander finely. Now put the coriander in an air tight container and close it. This is a very easy and good method due to which there is no need to clean and cut coriander every day. You store it in the freezer. Another way is to put chopped coriander in an ice tray and pour some water on top. Now keep in the freezer and the coriander cubes will freeze. Now take them out and put them in a zip lock bag. Take out an ice cube and add it to the food.

Fourth method- Let the coriander water dry and now spread the coriander on a newspaper or towel. When the moisture of coriander dries, spread it on a microwave tray and microwave it for some time. This will dry the coriander easily. When the leaves dry slightly and become crispy, take them out. Now let the coriander cool down and then crush it or store it in a clean container. Store it in the refrigerator. In this way, coriander will remain clean, green and fragrant for 6-8 months.
