In the final moments of the match, San Francisco needed 7 runs from 10 balls to win, with just one wicket in hand. Colma Stove attempted to steal a run by pushing Matthew Ford’s delivery towards mid-off, but Shimron Hetmyer, who was there, made no mistake with a precise throw from the bowling end, dismissing the stumps. With this runout, San Francisco were all out for 79, and Guyana lifted their second GSL title in the last three seasons.
