Cornered at home and abroad, Pakistan, the hotbed of terrorism, has now revealed its own caste. Having failed to diplomatically resolve the thorny issue between India and Afghanistan, Islamabad has now started instigating in the name of religion. Highlighting the teachings of Islam, their message to Afghanistan is, ‘It is not right to be a Muslim and be friends with infidels.’ The controversy has started as soon as this statement by Pakistan’s DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Chaudhry came to light.
Recently, at a press conference in Rawalpindi, Ahmed Chowdhury was asked about the DNA of India and Afghanistan. In response, he quoted a verse from the Quran and said, “Those who befriend India and Hindus should question their own Islamic principles.” Chowdhury then blamed India for Pakistan’s internal conflict and accused India of being allied with the Taliban. “I am not talking about the Afghan people. I am talking about the Taliban regime. We have to be careful to understand whose DNA is the same. The DNA of the Taliban is not the same as the DNA of ordinary Afghans. Ordinary Afghans are being oppressed under this Taliban regime. Therefore, the two DNAs are not the same in any way.”
Quoting a verse from the Quran, the Pakistani official said, “Those who befriend India and Hindus should question their own Islamic principles.”
Then, quoting the Quran, the Pakistani official said, “Allah has clearly said, do not take the unbelievers as friends or protectors. If you do, then you are not a true Muslim. So, we also need to understand the meaning of DNA. DNA shows the relationship. Yes, there are some similarities. But the real relationship between the Indian and Afghan Taliban is that of master and slave. The Taliban are accomplices of India’s hegemonic mentality.”
It is worth noting that many people from Afghanistan to Indonesia admit that their ancestors are from India. However, Pakistan has been making up various stories about its ancestors since 1947. Initially, they claimed to be descendants of Arabs. Later, when the Arabs rejected this claim, they started looking for their origins in Turkey. But the real truth is, this is also part of the Pakistani Indian DNA. Meanwhile, Pakistan is under pressure due to the massive conflict with the Taliban. In this situation, Islamabad is trying to win the hearts of Afghanistan by using Islam as a tool.
