Bhopal. A case of murder of four people of the same family by slitting their throats has come to light in Malikhedi, Bhopal on Monday. The body of the head of the family, Narendra Sahu, was also found on the side of the railway track in Sukhi Sewaniya area at around 11 am. Police suspect that Narendra Sahu first murdered four members of his own family by slitting their throats and then committed suicide by coming in front of the train. At present the police is investigating from every angle. According to the information, Narendra Sahu was deep in debt. His financial condition was not good due to which he may have taken this step.
The young man lived in a rented house. From where the police found the bodies of the young man’s wife Somlata Sahu (29), daughter Kriti Sahu (10) and son Khush Sahu (6) and mother Saraswati Sahu (50). Everyone was found with their throats cut. Deep injury marks were found on everyone’s head and neck. Police have received a CCTV footage of Narendra leaving the house. In which he was seen going out of the house at around 8 in the morning. It is suspected that the incident took place in the morning itself. Police have recovered a sharp knife and hammer from the house.
Narendra’s body found on the railway track
The body of family head Narendra Sahu was found on the railway track near Sukhi Sewaniya police station area. On Monday morning, a relative of the family received information about Narendra’s death. He reached the rented house in Malikhedi to inform the family, but the door did not open for a long time. After which he tried to contact him by phone but could not make contact. After this the relative informed the police. Police reached the house of deceased Narendra where bodies of four people were found in the house. In the preliminary investigation, the police suspect that Narendra first murdered his family by slitting their throats. After that he himself would have committed suicide by coming in front of the train. At present the police is investigating the matter.
Narendra was under mental stress due to debt
According to the police, initial investigation has revealed the pressure of debt on the head of the family. Deceased Narendra was under mental stress. It was told that Narendra had started a small restaurant in 2024. But due to non-operation of the restaurant it had to be closed. Narendra was not doing any work for the last 15-20 days. At present, the police is also investigating this aspect whether financial problems had any connection with the incident or not. From whom had the deceased taken loan?
