Lieutenant Colonel 'Raman Chauhan' belongs to a family with a distinguished political and social background. His grandfather Late Thakur 'Anoop Singh Chauntra' has served the public as MLA twice from the assembly constituency. His father 'Dalip Singh Chauhan' has retired after serving as store in-charge in a private limited company, while his mother looks after the household work.
