Before the launch, the company has shared information about the launch date, color options and many key specifications of the phone. The phone will have 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity chipset, 64MP camera, up to 8GB RAM and 6,000mAh battery.
HMD is going to expand its Vibe series in India. The company's new HMD Vibe 2 Pro smartphone will hit the Indian market on September 29. After launch, this phone will be available for sale through Flipkart. For this, the company has also made a separate website live, where information related to the features of the phone has been revealed.
HMD Vibe 2 Pro will have a 6.78 inch full-HD+ display. This screen will support 120Hz refresh rate. The company will offer the phone in Aqua Green, Cosmic Purple and Silver Mist color options.
For performance, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset will be provided in the phone. It is said to have up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The phone will have a large 6,000mAh battery, which will support 33W wired fast charging.
Talking about camera setup, HMD Vibe 2 Pro will have dual rear camera. It will include a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone will have a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
In terms of software, HMD Vibe 2 Pro will come with Android 16. Indus AI will also be included in the phone. According to HMD, this AI feature supports 22 Indian languages.
The price of HMD Vibe 2 Pro will be officially revealed during the launch. Earlier, the company had launched HMD Vibe 2 5G in India in May at a starting price of Rs 10,999. This phone had a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, 50-megapixel primary camera and 6,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support.
With the new HMD Vibe 2 Pro, the company is preparing to introduce an option with more features and better camera setup in the Vibe series. Complete information related to the price and sales of the phone will be revealed at the time of launch on September 29.
