Sedan and SUV Segment
This time, Honda is implementing a strategy to simultaneously appeal to customers from two different segments. The company has placed its first bet on its strongest bastion: the premium sedan segment, where the long-standing Honda City is being revitalized.
Meanwhile, to further strengthen its position in the premium SUV segment, the Japanese carmaker is launching a new global vehicle in the Indian market. These two vehicles are poised to give Indian roads a run for their money by challenging giants like Hyundai, Skoda, and Volkswagen.
At this grand event on May 22nd, Honda will officially launch its iconic sedan, the Honda City Facelift. Additionally, for SUV enthusiasts, Honda will also launch its new premium hybrid SUV on the same day.
While the City Facelift will appeal to sedan lovers, the new premium SUV will establish itself as Honda’s new flagship model in the Indian market, capable of directly competing with larger luxury vehicles.
Design and Advanced Features
Honda is offering a unique blend of luxury and modern technology in both vehicles, providing customers with a premium driving experience. The exterior of the Honda City Facelift will feature several significant cosmetic changes, including an all-new front bumper, a striking honeycomb-patterned front grille, and sharp, streamlined LED headlights.
Stepping inside the cabin will create an even more premium feel. New features include front ventilated seats, a larger touchscreen infotainment system with updated software, a 360-degree camera for easier parking in tight spaces, and a new fully digital driver display.
Honda’s new flagship SUV, on the other hand, is set to be a walking treasure trove of features. Additionally, heated and ventilated front seats for winter and summer will be provided, along with a spectacular panoramic sunroof for a more ventilated cabin. Safety features include Honda Sensing Level-2 ADAS technology, an advanced driver assistance system that ensures your safety on the road.
Engine and Performance
On the engine front, Honda has maintained its proven reliability in its sedans, while infusing the new SUV with unmatched power. Its popular hybrid variant, known for its 126 horsepower and excellent fuel economy, will also be available.
