‘House of Cards’ star Michael Kelly lands role in ‘Landman’ season 3

Paramount+’s Landman is welcoming Michael Kelly as its newest series regular for the upcoming third season.

The 57-year-old actor will step into the role of William Crockett, a towering figure in the oil industry who leads the world’s largest management firm and embodies wealth and efficiency.

He will be taking on another role in the Taylor Sheridan universe, joining Landman’s third season while also remaining a star of Sheridan’s Paramount+ military drama Lioness, now in its third season.

The hit series takes viewers into the booming oil towns of West Texas, where the pursuit of fortune shapes a modern day story of ambition and power.

Adapted from the 11 part podcast Boomtown, the series explores the lives of roughnecks and oil billionaires behind a boom reshaping the climate, economy and global politics.

His work on Netflix’s hit House of Cards has earned him four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

Michaels TV work also includes roles in HBO’s The PenguinAmazon’s Jack Ryan and AMC’s animated series Pantheonalongside Lioness.

His film résumé features roles in Law Abiding Citizen, Now You See Me, Chronicle, The Changeling and Man of Steel.

As of right now, there is Landman season 3 has no release date.
