Tezzbuzz Desk- On the 25th anniversary of the horrific 9/11 terrorist attack in America, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the victims. He expressed condolences to the families whose lives were changed forever after this attack. PM Modi said terrorism has taken countless lives across the world and India has been facing cross-border terrorism for many decades.
The Prime Minister posted on the social media platform X that even after 25 years of the 9/11 attacks, the victims are being remembered. He spoke of respecting them and standing with the affected families.
India's resolve against terrorism strong
PM Modi said that the threat of terrorism is continuously increasing. In such a situation, India's resolve and opposition against every form of terrorism is stronger than before. He expressed support for all efforts being made to combat terrorism.
Referring to India's role against terrorism, the Prime Minister said that the country has been a victim of cross-border terrorism for a long time. Despite this, India stands firmly in the fight against terrorism and is continuously strengthening its counter-terrorism capabilities.

What happened on September 11, 2001?
On September 11, 2001, 19 al-Qaeda terrorists attacked America by hijacking four commercial airliners. Two of these planes were flown into the Twin Cities of New York's World Trade Center.
