Hyundai Creta Electric SUV Owner Buys One More Creta EV: Reviews Both After 76,000 Kms

The detailed ownership review of the Hyundai Creta Electric has been shared on YouTube by Motor Matrix on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger introducing the vehicle, which is a Hyundai Creta Electric Executive Tech 42 kWh variant, and then the owner of this vehicle. Following this, he then sits with him inside the vehicle while it was getting charged.

The first question which the vlogger asks the owner is about his decision to buy the Hyundai Creta Electric and if he had checked out other EVs. To this, the owner replied that in his family, they already have the Tata Curvv.ev, Nexon.ev, MG ZS EV, and Windsor EV. Additionally, he had also checked out the Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9E, and a few other EVs as well. However, when they first checked out the Creta Electric last year, they bought one.

He highlights that they own two Creta Electrics, out of which one was bought in November last year and has done about 46,000 km. Meanwhile, this particular Creta Electric, in which they are sitting, was bought in February and has covered over 28,000+ km. The owner explained that after checking out all the EVs, he concluded that the Creta Electric offers everything which he needs, including looks, features, and range.

After the first question, the vlogger then asks the owner about the real-world range of this EV. To this, he replies that the company-claimed range is never accurate and the real-world range is mostly 10 to 15 percent lower than the actual range. So, in the real world, the vehicle offers a range of around 375 km to 400 km. He added that the range depends a lot on the driving style and the weather conditions.

Following this, the vlogger then asks the owner if he has taken his Creta Electric on any longer road trips. To this, he mentions that he generally prefers to travel outside the city in his Fortuner or Endeavour. However, he has taken the Creta Electric to Udaipur, Rajasthan, and Pune, Maharashtra, from Bhopal, and both of the times it performed flawlessly.

He added that the quality of materials, such as the soft plastics and the soft-touch leatherette on the armrest on both sides, and the overall quality is very amazing. As for the features, he added that the SUV comes loaded with almost everything which is needed.

Moving ahead, the vlogger then asks the owner about the service cost of this vehicle. To this, he replied that the Hyundai dealership is owned by one of their relatives. The service that he gets is good. He added that the first service was done at 1,000 km and the second was done at 10,000 km, when the bill only came under Rs 1,500. He added that the third service at 20,000 km was also under Rs 5,000, and it will soon go for the 30,000 km service.

The only issue he has with EVs is that they consume tyres very quickly. He added that at around 28,000 km, the tyres on his vehicle have been used up 70 percent. However, apart from this, he does not have any issues with the vehicle.
