Once again big and serious news has come to light regarding Pakistan's politics and the health of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Taking seriously the deteriorating health and medical reports, the Pakistani Supreme Court has issued an important interim order related to the treatment of Imran Khan. The court has directed to immediately admit him to the prestigious Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad and constitute a special medical board for his treatment. Big order of Supreme Court and formation of medical board On Tuesday, a three-member bench of the Supreme Court heard the petitions filed by PTI leaders and Imran Khan's sister. The court clarified that Imran Khan's personal physician Dr. Faisal and his sister Uzma Khan will also be included in the special medical board to be formed. Besides, the court has also given strict instructions to the party not to do any kind of politics regarding the health of the former Prime Minister. As per the court's direction, Imran Khan will remain under hospital observation till the next hearing (September 16), where his health report will again be presented in the court. What came out in the medical report? According to the official medical report submitted in the Supreme Court by the Superintendent of Adiala Jail, concerns have increased over the health of 73-year-old Imran Khan: Severe Anxiety: The report has described him as suffering from severe anxiety and panic symptoms of 'Three Plus' level, which is considered to be very sensitive psychologically. Vital Signs: During examination, his blood pressure was recorded at 140/80 and pulse rate at 54 per minute. However, his ECG has come back normal and cardiac parameters are reported to be fine. Suggestions and Recovery: The medical board has recommended them to stay away from mental stress, take a walk for an hour regularly and provide them with books, newspapers and magazines to read. Meaning of Anxiety 'Level Three Plus' and Family Meetings According to experts, this level of anxiety can increase further due to being alone for a long time and having limited communication with the outside world. To control this, a positive environment and interaction with loved ones have been said to be necessary. On the other hand, the jail administration told the court that family visits were being provided to him as per the rules. Now all eyes are on his treatment at Shifa International Hospital and the next judicial action to be held on September 16.
