Due to continuous heavy rains in the district, the mud house of a poor family in Sahgonda of Ghaghri Gram Panchayat under Babhni block collapsed. After heavy rain on Tuesday night, the mud house of Dev Babu son Ramkishan suddenly collapsed. Due to the collapse of the house, household items including grains kept in the house got buried under the debris and got damaged.
The family affected by the collapse of the house is now facing serious problems of living and food and the family is very troubled due to the destruction of their house amid the rains. According to local people, this accident happened due to the weakening of the mud walls due to continuous rains.
On receiving information about the incident, village head Krishnanand Soni reached the spot and assured all possible help and government compensation to the victim's family. In this sequence, the village head also contacted the accountant and asked him to start the process of assessing the damage and preparing the report.
On this occasion, village head Krishnanand Soni, area panchayat member Shiv Kumar, local villager Umang Gupta and many villagers were present.
The victim's family and the local people have demanded from the district administration that after conducting an on-site inspection of the spot, immediate financial assistance should be provided so that the family can get relief in this rain crisis.
