Guwahati. The second match of the three-match ODI series between India and West Indies will be played today i.e. on 30th September at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Indian team is leading 1-0 in the series after winning the first ODI by 8 wickets. Under the captaincy of Shubman Gill, Team India will now look to win the second match and win the series. The match will start at 2 pm, while the toss will take place at 1:30 pm.
In the first match, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill scored centuries, while Kuldeep Yadav played an important role by taking 4 wickets. In such a situation, strong performance will once again be expected from both the Indian batting and bowling.
Big blow to West Indies, Justin Greaves out
West Indies have suffered a big blow before the second ODI. Justin Greaves, who played an innings of 101 runs in the first match, has been ruled out of the second match due to a calf injury. Cricket West Indies has confirmed his injury.
Greaves scored the first ODI century of his career in Thiruvananthapuram. In his absence, West Indies may have to change their batting combination. Reports suggest the possibility of Jewel Andrew being sent up.
