According to the latest data of the Income Tax Department, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has paid the highest tax in Uttarakhand in the category of individual tax payer. Pant has paid a total of Rs 23.84 crore as tax. Let us tell you, Pant belongs to Roorkee of Haridwar district of Uttarakhand. Cricket, IPL contract and various business agreements are his main sources of income.

Highest tax was paid last year also

According to reports, Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has deposited more than double the tax this time as compared to the last financial year. Earlier, he had secured the first position in the list of individual taxpayers in the state by depositing advance tax of about Rs 10.50 crore. Now this time with a tax payment of Rs 23.84 crore, he has once again become the biggest taxpayer of Uttarakhand.
