Recruitment for 244 Positions at ISRO, Application Process Ongoing

The Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB) of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has invited applications for various administrative positions. A total of 244 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive. This recruitment drive will fill the positions of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Stenographer, and Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant positions in autonomous institutions under the Department of Space (DOS). The maximum number of 113 positions are reserved for Assistants, followed by 81 for Junior Personal Assistants and 22 for Upper Division Clerks. Additionally, 10 vacancies have been announced for Stenographers, and Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant positions in autonomous institutions.

What are the qualifications and age limits?

To apply for these positions, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 60 percent marks or a 6.32/10 CGPA. Knowledge or a certificate in relevant stenography is also required for the Stenographer position. The age limit varies by post, with the maximum age set at 28, 31, or 33 years. Age will be calculated as of August 16, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
