22-year-old Jadumani reached the final of the Commonwealth Games for the first time. Following this victory, she dedicated her performance to the brave soldiers of the Kargil War, making headlines. With her victory in the quarterfinals, she had already secured a medal for India.
Jadumani won her third medal in boxing.
