Actor and Co-creator of Ted Lasso Jason Sudeikis is weighing on whether fans should expect more seasons.
Just when it seemed the hit Apple TV sports comedy had reached the finish line, the series found another chapter.
Even the 51-year-old actor, who played Coach Ted Lasso on the series, once believed the series would wrap up with Season 3, only to return with season 4 three years later.
With speculation lingering about Ted Lasso’s future, he recently spoke about the chances of Seasons 5 and 6 during an interview on Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso.
Jason admitted that he is open to coming back and “would like to” do more seasons but “it takes a village,” he added.
The prospect of more Ted Lasso also raised the question of Apple’s willingness to continue the series, with the We’re the Millers star responding, “I would assume so.”
However, when asked whether the fan favourite comedy series would actually return for more seasons, he admitted, “I just don’t know,” adding that “we haven’t started a writers’ room or anything like that.”
Ted Lasso returned with season 4 on August 5, 2026, after initially concluding with three season in 2023.
Fans can binge all four seasons on Apple Tv.
