‘Jeevan Bheema Yojana’ trailer: Arshad Warsi plays double role in dark comedy

The trailer of Jeevan Bheema Yojana has been released, giving a glimpse into the dark comedy starring Arshad Warsi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Vijay Raaz and Pooja Chopra. Directed by Abhishek Dogra, the film is set to release in cinemas on September 4, 2026.

The film marks Arshad Warsi’s first double role. He plays Jeevan, a simple man struggling with debt, and Bheema, his dangerous lookalike. Their lives take an unexpected turn when their identities become connected, leading to a series of confusing and comic situations.

Sanjeeda Shaikh plays Yojana, Jeevan’s smart and strong-willed wife. Vijay Raaz appears as Vinayak, a mysterious character who adds to the trouble, while Pooja Chopra, Brijendra Kala and the late Atul Parchure also feature in supporting roles.

The trailer combines crime, suspense and dark humour as Jeevan finds what seems like an easy way out of his problems. However, his decision soon creates bigger trouble and puts him in a dangerous situation.

Talking about his double role, Arshad said, “Playing two characters in a film was a completely different experience for me. Jeevan and Bheema are very different people, and the fun was in finding the little details that make each of them distinct.”

Presented and produced by Starbeam Ventures Limited, Jeevan Bheema Yojana will release worldwide on September 4.
