On Tuesday, criminals committed robbery in a jewelery shop in broad daylight in Darauli police station area of Siwan district of Bihar. During the robbery in Tadwa Chatti market, miscreants attacked a gold trader. When he protested against the robbery, the criminals first attacked him with a knife and then shot him and seriously injured him. After the incident, there was chaos in the entire market. However, due to the activeness of the local people, two criminals were caught while the rest of the criminals escaped while firing in the air. There is an atmosphere of panic among the market traders after the incident.
It is being told that about six miscreants had reached the jewelery shop located in Tadwa Chatti Bazaar on two bikes. As soon as they entered the shop they started looting. The miscreants started looting the jewelery kept in the shop with the help of weapons. Meanwhile, the gold trader protested against the robbery and tried to confront the criminals, after which the criminals started beating him.

The miscreants attacked the businessman with bullets and knives. After the incident, the criminals started running away from the shop with jewelery and other items. It is being told that the miscreants have also looted some gold and silver jewellery. However, the exact amount of loot is still being assessed.
Villagers caught two miscreants
As soon as the information about the robbery was received, the people nearby became active and started chasing the fleeing criminals. The villagers laid siege and caught two miscreants and handed them over to the police. The rest of the miscreants managed to escape. It is being told that the absconding criminals also fired in the air while escaping so that people would not chase them.
The injured gold trader was taken to Darauli Primary Health Center with the help of local people. After first aid there, when his condition became critical, he was referred to Siwan Sadar Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. According to doctors, the businessman suffered a bullet injury and several knife wounds.

Police is searching for miscreants
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police of Darauli police station reached the spot. The police have taken into custody both the miscreants who were caught by the villagers. During investigation of the incident police also found a bullet casing. Police interrogated nearby people and are also examining CCTV footage.
Both the arrested criminals are being interrogated. Based on the inquiry, raids are being conducted at possible locations to identify and arrest the absconding criminals. Police are also trying to find out how many criminals were involved in the crime and what is the value of the looted jewelery and other items. At present, the police have blocked the area and intensified the search for the absconding criminals.
