All clubs competing in UEFA competitions in 2026-27 must submit their squads for the league phase campaign by the end of Wednesday, September 2, the day after the close of the summer transfer window for the majority of European nations.
Teams are permitted to name a maximum of 25 players on their ‘List A’. Of those 25 players, at least two must be goalkeepers and eight must be ‘locally trained players’ ie. those who were based in Italy for at least three uninterrupted years between the ages of 15 and 21.
Teams are also able to name an unlimited number of players on their ‘List B’, typically reserved for youth-team players. Any player can be named on List B as long as they were born on or after January 1, 2005, and as long as they have played for the club for an uninterrupted period of at least two years.

Curiously, this means that star Juventus attacker Yildiz has been included on List B rather than List A, given that he was born after January 1, 2005 and has spent the last four years with the Bianconeri.
Summer signing Jeff Ekhator, currently unavailable through injury, has not been named in either List A or List B. All of Juve’s other summer signings have made the cut: Goalkeepers Guglielmo Vicario and Kamil Grabara, defenders Jhon Lucumi and Zeki Celik, midfielder Pape Matar Sarr and attackers Randal Kolo Muani, Kerim Alajbegovic and Nick Woltemade.

Nico Gonzalez and Douglas Luiz, who spent the 2025-26 out on loans with Atletico Madrid and Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa respectively, have been included in Juve’s UEFA squad list fot 2026-27.
